Tyler Herro lists Pinecrest estate after trade to Milwaukee Bucks

Tyler Herro wasted little time after being traded to the Milwaukee Bucks, and listed his Pinecrest mansion for nearly $12 million the day his trade was finalized.

Herro paid $10.5 million for the 9,500-square-foot house at 12900 Southwest 63rd Avenue in late 2022. The home has eight bedrooms, eight bathrooms and one half-bathroom, according to the listing. It’s on the market with Douglas Elliman’s Lourdes Alatriste.

Herro is headed to Milwaukee along with Kasparas Jakučionis, Jaime Jaquez Jr., and Kel’el Ware as part of a blockbuster trade that brings NBA champion Giannis Antetokounmpo and forward Bobby Portis Jr. to Miami.

Herro’s home sits on a nearly 1-acre lot and includes a gourmet kitchen, wine cellar, summer kitchen, cabana, pool and movie theater. It was built in 2021.

Herro financed the 2022 purchase with a $7.4 million mortgage from HSBC Bank. He had just signed a four-year, $120 million contract with the Heat. The shooting guard was drafted by the franchise in 2019 after one year of college basketball at the University of Kentucky.

A number of Miami Heat players and other professional athletes have called Pinecrest and the surrounding neighborhoods home, including former Heat player Jimmy Butler, who owned a home near South Miami, ex-Heat player Dion Waiters and retired baseball Hall-of-Famer David “Big Papi” Ortiz. (Ortiz sold his home in 2023 for $10.6 million, which at the time marked a record for home sales in Pinecrest.)

In April, Houston Rockets player Jeff Green sold his mansion at 9500 Southwest 61st Court in Pinecrest for $15.5 million

Last year, Trevor L. Taylor, who pleaded guilty to securities fraud and related charges, and his wife sold their 20,000-square-foot mansion at  6555 Southwest 102nd Street in Pinecrest for $19.5 million. That deal holds the current record for single-family home sales in the village.
