Estates at Acqualina penthouse sells for $33M, a record for the building

An affiliate of Jules and Eddie Trump’s Trump Group sold a penthouse at the Estates at Acqualina in Sunny Isles Beach for $33 million.

Acquilina 26 LLC, an entity tied to consultant Lindsay Levert and real estate attorney Maria Marta Calderon of Hallandale Beach, bought the 52nd-story unit at 17975 Collins Avenue. It’s the most expensive sale to date in the tower. Morgan Stanley provided the buyer with a $20.5 million loan. Fabian Bukschtein signed the mortgage on behalf of the buyer.

The building is one of two oceanfront towers the Trump Group completed in 2022 and 2023, which have 232 units combined. The Trump Group, which also developed the Mansions at Acqualina and the Acqualina Resort & Residences, is of no relation to President Donald Trump.

Little information about the unit is available via the county property appraiser. But the space measures about 8,858 square feet, according to Condo Blackbook. It has six bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms and was listed furnished. It was previously asking $35 million.

Earlier this year, a company managed by Mexican real estate investment executive Moussa El Mann sold a six-bedroom condo at the Estates for $21.6 million to an LLC led by attorney Nora Galego. The unit measures 7,700 square feet, pricing the deal at $2,800 per square foot. The seller purchased the unit in 2025 for $17.9 million.

The development includes an amenities villa with an ice-skating rink, bowling alley, Formula 1 racing simulator and golf simulator. Late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld designed the buildings’ lobbies.

Two buyers sued the developer this year alleging that ongoing construction and incomplete maintenance prevented them from enjoying their units. The developer wasn’t aware of maintenance requests for one of the units, and defended construction on the other, a spokesperson for the Trump Group told The Real Deal at the time.
