Florida Agency Network (FAN) has expanded its use of CertifID across its operations, bringing identity verification, payoff clearance, wire fraud protection and closing communication tools into a connected workflow.
FAN said the rollout adds direct wire fraud protection to every closing it conducts.
The network is also using CertifID’s closing communication and automation tools, which became part of the platform through CertifID’s acquisition of CloseSimple earlier this year, to manage client communication and data collection throughout the closing process.
“Fraud prevention and client communication once required multiple, separate systems, which created its own challenges,” Jay Roberts, chief technology officer of FAN, said in a statement.
“We’ve relied on CertifID to confirm identity and clear payoffs before funds move for some time now. Now, we can bring that same protection into data collection and keep everyone at the table informed, without our teams manually chasing down status updates. Together, they create a seamless solution for protecting a transaction as well as streamlining it.”
CertifID verifies identities and validates wire instructions before payoffs, with each transaction backed by direct insurance coverage, according to the company.
The platform’s newer capabilities include real-time closing communication, a client-facing portal, automated status updates and integrations with major title production systems.
“Title teams are being asked to manage more files without adding staff, and fraud tactics are changing faster than most agencies can track,” said Tyler Adams, CEO and co-founder of CertifID.
“Fraud prevention shouldn’t live in a silo, separate from the rest of the agency’s tech stack. FAN’s expanded rollout puts protection and communication in one connected workflow. Their buyers, sellers, and partners get a better closing, and every dollar that moves is protected.”
